Financiering van initiatieven inzake conflictpreventie

De ministerraad gaat akkoord met het voorstel van minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Steven Vanackere om volgende initiatieven inzake conflictpreventie te financieren op de begroting van de FOD Buitenlandse Zaken:

• Opbouw van een democratische samenleving, ondersteuning van participatieve processen - RCN Justice et Démocratie - Turning Rwandese Community Justice into an Engine for Reconciliation - Rwanda
• Opbouw / versterking van de rechtstaat en van het justitieapparaat - RCN Justice et Démocratie - Support To The Southern Sudanese Legal System By Enhancing The Capacity And Skills Of The Ministry Of Legal Affairs And Constitutional Development - Soedan
• Herstel van schade na conflict - International Rescue Committee -
  'Communautés et société civile ivoiriennes ensemble pour la prévention des conflits' - Ivoorkust
• Ontmijning en non proliferatie - Mines Advisory Group (MAG) - Colombia
• Bemiddeling van dreigende en lopende conflicten - Vredesdialoog en
  nationale verzoening - crisisbeheer - Shaal - Peace Now for Israel Educational Enterprises - Settlement Watch - Israel
• Respect en bewustmaking voor mensenrechten - Pax Christi Vlaanderen - Pursuit of Justice. Promoting the values of human rights, rule of law and democracy in the Northern Caucasus - Rusland
• Capaciteitsopbouw en versterking van de civiele maatschappij - MEMISA met Congolese partner VISION D'ESPOIR - 'Projet de reconstruction communautaire, capacitation de la société civile et appui aux personnes survivantes des conflits armés dans le territoire de Walungu en groupements de Kaniola et Mulambo, province de Sud-Kivu' - RDC
• Capaciteitsopbouw en versterking van de civiele maatschappij -
  VERBATIMS - 'Formation à la gestion des risques de conflits identitaires et de construction d'identités ouvertes dans l'Est de la RDC' - Ituri, N&Z-Kivu - RDC
• Herstel van schade als gevolg van een conflict - INTERNATIONAL
  RESCUE COMMITTEE (IRC) - 'Peaceful Homes, Peaceful Communities:
  Consolidating Peace in Post-Conflict Burundi through Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence' - Burundi
• Bemiddeling bij dreigende en lopende conflicten - processen van
  vredesdialoog en (inter)nationale verzoening - crisisbeheer - CRISIS
  MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE (CMI) - 'Creating Improved Capacities for
  International Peace Mediation' - Global, met focus op EU
• Opbouw/versterking van de overheidsinstellingen, bevordering van
  behoorlijk bedstuur - good governance - EASTWEST INSTITUTE (EWI) -
  'Parliamentarians Network for Conflict Prevention and Human Security: Water Security and Regional Stability - EU Neighbourhood Policy' - Global met focus op Oost-Europa, Centraal-Azië en Midden Oosten
