PPS Social Integration, anti-Poverty Policy, Social Economy and Federal Urban Policy

The "European Child Guarantee: from engagement to reality" conference, opened by the Minister for Social Integration and the Fight against Poverty, took place at the Egmont Palace in Brussels on 2 and 3 May 2024. The event was attended by H.M. The Queen, demonstrating the royal commitment to the fight against child poverty.

The conference organised by the FPS Social Integration on 13 and 14 March 2024 was a real success, bringing together European experts and decision-makers in search of solutions for inclusive digital services. Two days rich in discussions to fuel the future Belgian and European political agendas.

Brussels, 9 February 2024 - As part of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Minister for Social Integration and the Fight Against Poverty hosted a two-day conference entitled 'Towards zero homelessness, only 6 years to succeed'. The event, which took place on 8 and 9 February in Brussels, brought together representatives from Member States, experts and associations dedicated to the cause, all driven by a renewed commitment to a future without homelessness.

Brussels, 18/01/2024: As part of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union, PPS Social Integration organised the 'Minimum Income, towards a safety net for all' conference on 18 January 2024, in Brussels. An opportunity for Member States to take stock of their progress and commit to strong social protection within the EU.
