The Minister of Finance, Didier Reynders, announces : The Kingdom of Belgium intends to issue a new syndicated 30 year benchmark bond in the near future. This new OLO 44 will have a maturity of 28 March 2035. The Kingdom has mandated Deutsche Bank, Fortis, JP Morgan and SGCIB as joint bookrunners. The OLO auction scheduled for May 24th 2004 is cancelled.
