NATO Summit 11 and 12 July - Spouses’ Programme: Press Accreditations

The programme will take place on Wednesday 11 July, in the afternoon, in Walloon Brabant. On Thursday 12 July, in the morning, it will be Flemish Brabant’s turn. 

Belgian and international press can attend this programme. Press zones will be available at the locations visited. There are two press pools open to photographers and cameramen:

• Wednesday 11 July, afternoon (Walloon Brabant)
  Departure and return by bus from the NATO Accreditation Office in Haren.

• Thursday 12 July, morning (Flemish Brabant)
  Departure and return by bus from the parc du Cinquantenaire.

Journalists can register for either one or both press pools. There is a limited number of places available for these pools. You can register via https://accreditation.belgium.be/en/nato-summit-partners-programme at the latest by 4 July, 6 PM. You will then receive an e-mail confirming or declining your registration as well as more information and instructions for the pool(s) selected.

The press zones are only available to those visibly wearing an accreditation badge, which is provided by the Belgian Federal Authorities. NATO accreditation is not necessary for covering the spouses’ programme. 

Late arrivals will be denied access to the press zones. Journalists are requested to respect the instructions provided by the organisers during briefings.

Dress code: proper and formal attire required. Umbrellas are allowed.

A ‘uniquely phenomenal’ event for the Belgian and international press will take place on Tuesday 10 July at ‘Kanal - Centre Pompidou’ from 6:30 PM in the presence of members of the federal government. Discover all that Belgium has to offer and why it is so phenomenal!
