Belgium starts its European Presidency – Addendum to the news item of 28 December 2023

A national remembrance ceremony for former European Commission President Jacques Delors will be held at Les Invalides in Paris on 5 January 2024.

As a result, the meeting between the College of EU Commissioners and the Belgian Presidency, which was scheduled to take place at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium at 10.00 am, has been cancelled.

The round-table discussions and meetings at the Egmont Palace will take place in the afternoon.

The opening concert held in the evening at Bozar will continue as scheduled.
