The Minister of Finance, Didier Reynders, announces :

The Kingdom of Belgium (Aa1/AA+/AA+) has mandated Citi,        
Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan for a 5-year dollar benchmark bond  
under the EMTN program. The transaction will be launched and    
priced in the near future subject to market conditions.
